| Monuments require activation to grant titles and make their enlistment facilities available. Activation is only possible when the monument is on your faction's territory; removal from your territory will result in deactivation. Once activated, the monument will require a karma upkeep; if you cannot pay your upkeep, it will begin to deteriorate, and could eventual be completely destroyed if action is not taken to rectify the situation. Some monuments can be activated multiple times, to achieve more powerful titles, though each upgrade typically costs additional karma. |
