Money comes in the form of pieces formed from various materials: quartz, ruelbone, jade, and so on up. Each denomination is worth ten times as much as the previous one. For example, one ruelbone monad is the equivilent of ten quartz fragments.

Money is always sorted by order of value (highest value first) in your character's inventory, and always comes before any other types of items, to make managing it easier. All money can be identified by the keyword 'money', so you can use commands like 'put pouch', or even 'put 5*money pouch'.

Should you find your finances becoming a bit unwieldy, the moneychanger will exchange your money for you.
